Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs some support Can I be left alone? Potentially, once settled Reggie will need his home alone training started from the beginning but has the potential to do a few hours. He has been calm in kennel and loves a large bed to lounge around in. Do I have any medical conditions? None Reggie has a historic medical concern, namely diarrhea that has resolved, it will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome this pet and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical concern, be that historic or ongoing, is discussed with your own vet prior to any book out appointment. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? No Additional information Reggie has been comfortable walking with polite, calmer dogs but he can find overenthusiastic dogs overwhelming. Reggie should continue to wear a muzzle out of the home due to his racing history. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Reggie can live with children aged 8+. He is a sweet boy who enjoys interactions with people, he will lap up all the attention he can have! Reggie will lean into your legs for affection and gets excited when seeing people he loves! What type of environment would suit me? Reggie will need a home with his own, secure private garden where he can zoom around and stretch those legs! Reggie loves zooming around in our off lead areas and he’s very speedy! Reggie generally walks nicely on the lead with his harness next to you. About Reggie Reggie is a wonderful ex-racing Greyhound who is now looking for his perfect retirement home, where he can put his paws up and enjoy the quieter side of life. Reggie has never lived in a home before, so everything about retirement life will be new to him. He will need understanding owners who are happy to give him the time he needs to settle in, learn new routines and discover all the joys of home life at his own pace. He loves a leisurely stroll and will happily walk for as long as you do, but once he’s home, his favourite thing is finding the comfiest spot and settling down for a well-earned rest. Reggie has a wonderfully affectionate nature and loves spending time with his people. He would choose people over dogs any day. If you’re looking for a loving companion, Reggie will be ready and waiting.
