Risotto arrived at our shelter with seven other cats, all from a home where the situation had unfortunately deteriorated. Their owner, suffering from Noah’s syndrome, was no longer able to properly care for them, and they were taken in in a particularly concerning state. Risotto is more fearful than his other animal siblings, and will need time, patience, and gentleness to learn to trust and feel safe. Once reassured, he can, however, appreciate human presence and contact at his own pace. In terms of his interactions, Risotto gets along well with other cats when he is comfortable and can cohabitate with respectful other animals of the same species. Due to his history, a risk of inbreeding exists, which could make him a bit more fragile and require special attention to his well-being. Regarding his health, Risotto has a symblepharon in his right eye, an affliction resulting from old ocular injuries. To preserve his ocular comfort, he will need regular eye drops. His future family must therefore be attentive to this daily care, which will allow him to fully enjoy his life.

Risotto est arrivé au refuge avec sept autres chats, issus d’un foyer où la situation avait malheureusement dégénéré. Leur propriétaire, souffrant du syndrome de Noé, n’était plus en mesure de s’occuper correctement d’eux, et ils ont été pris en charge dans un état particulièrement préoccupant. C’est un chat plus peureux que ses congénères, qui aura besoin de temps, de patience et de douceur pour apprendre à faire confiance et se sentir en sécurité. Une fois rassuré, il peut toutefois apprécier la présence humaine et le contact, à son rythme. Concernant ses ententes, Risotto s’entend bien avec les autres chats lorsqu’il est en confiance et pourra cohabiter avec des congénères respectueux. En raison de son histoire, un risque de consanguinité existe, ce qui peut le rendre un peu plus fragile et nécessiter une attention particulière à son bien-être. Concernant sa santé, Risotto présente un symblépharon à l’œil droit, une affection résultant de séquelles oculaires anciennes. Afin de préserver son confort oculaire, il aura besoin de gouttes dans l’œil de manière régulière. Sa future famille devra donc être attentive à ce petit soin du quotidien, qui lui permettra de profiter pleinement de sa vie.
