Rolo knows sit, not overly pully on lead, likes a fuss, butt scrat and ear rub, also likes to be independent and takes himself off to bed. Can live with older primary school age children and above, children must be dog savvy and be able to understand when a dog prefers to be alone in their safe space. Rolo is an 5-year-old Patterdale with bundles of energy. He likes to be busy, busy, busy, people to see and things to do! He’s a lot of fun and loves his toys. Rolo hasn’t been nervous in new situations, whether it’s a different place or an unfamiliar person. He went straight into his foster home, had a play with toys, then got into his bed and fell asleep! Rolo really does love to be out and about, he is well behaved around other dogs, so potentially can live with another dog (must be neutered) pending successful meet. Good in the vets, good to handle, he does like his bed and should be left alone when seeking his safe space. He travels well in the car, has been used to living in a flat and doesn’t require garden, as long as adopters are willing to give regular walks, exercise and toilet breaks.
