Simba: Giant with a lot of charm This large, lively dog came to the animal shelter after getting into a man's garden and chasing his chickens - a misunderstanding that ultimately opened a new chapter for him. The man brought him to us in his van, and so his journey to a better life began. Upon arrival, it quickly became clear that he needed medical attention: an operation on his eyes was necessary due to Cherry Eye and Entropium. However, he mastered everything with admirable patience. Even when receiving daily eye ointments and drops, he showed himself to be calm and cooperative. Today, he is an active, playful, and exceptionally friendly dog who conquers all hearts with his open and approachable nature. He loves attention, enjoys petting, and has a great fondness for toys. Sometimes, he still shows behavior typical of a puppy and seems unaware of his size. With a shoulder height of approximately 80 cm, he can easily reach over head height when joyfully jumping up. His nature is full of joie de vivre, and whoever gives him a home gets a funny, loving companion who is always ready for fun and surprises with gentleness and patience. A real heart on four paws - ready for a new adventure. If this dog arrives at your home, please give him time to settle in quietly. Much will still be new to him. That's why, with your help and patience, he will learn the basics of dog training, such as climbing stairs, going to the bathroom outside, or walking on a leash. A good dog school (where animal shelter dogs are also welcome) can help you with this. Joint training also strengthens your bond and trust in each other. We only know the dogs from the animal shelter and usually do not know whether they are compatible with cats or other animals. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this. A harmonious integration should therefore take place very carefully. We will be happy to support you from the beginning. Januar 2024 Schulterhöhe ca. 80 cm männlich, kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt Im Tierheim seit 02.06.2025 Standort: Tierheim Prijatelji/Kroatien Der Transport des Hundes wird von uns organisiert Simba: Riese mit viel Charme Dieser große, lebensfrohe Hund kam ins Tierheim, nachdem er in den Garten eines Mannes geraten war und dessen Hühner jagte – ein Missverständnis, das ihm letztlich ein neues Kapitel eröffnete. Der Mann brachte ihn kurzerhand in seinem Van zu uns, und so begann seine Reise in ein besseres Leben. Bei seiner Ankunft war schnell klar, dass er medizinische Hilfe brauchte: Eine Operation an den Augen war notwendig, da er unter Cherry Eye und Entropium litt. Doch er meisterte alles mit bewundernswerter Geduld. Selbst bei der täglichen Gabe von Salben und Tropfen in die Augen zeigte er sich ruhig und kooperativ. Heute ist er ein aktiver, verspielter und ausgesprochen freundlicher Hund, der mit seiner offenen und aufgeschlossenen Art alle Herzen erobert. Er liebt Aufmerksamkeit, genießt Streicheleinheiten und hat eine große Vorliebe für Spielzeug. Manchmal zeigt er noch welpentypisches Verhalten und scheint sich hierbei seiner Größe nicht bewusst zu sein. Mit etwa 80 cm Schulterhöhe kann er beim freudigen Anspringen problemlos über Kopfhöhe reichen. Sein Wesen ist voller Lebensfreude, und wer ihm ein Zuhause schenkt, bekommt einen lustigen, liebevollen Gefährten, der für jeden Spaß zu haben ist und gleichzeitig mit Sanftmut und Geduld überrascht. Ein echtes Herz auf vier Pfoten – bereit für ein neues Abenteuer. Wenn dieser Hund bei dir zu Hause angekommen ist, gib ihm bitte Zeit, sich ganz in Ruhe einzugewöhnen. Vieles wird ihm noch neu sein. Deswegen möchte er gemeinsam mit deiner Hilfe und Geduld das Hunde-Einmaleins lernen, wie Treppen steigen, das Geschäft draußen verrichten oder an der Leine gehen. Eine gute Hundeschule (bei der auch Tierschutzhunde willkommen sind) kann euch dabei helfen. Gemeinsames Training stärkt außerdem eure Bindung und euer Vertrauen zueinander. Wir kennen die Hunde nur aus dem Tierheim und wissen in der Regel nicht, ob sie mit Katzen oder anderen Tieren verträglich sind. Garantieren können wir das also leider nicht. Eine Zusammenführung erfolgt daher am besten ganz behutsam. Wir unterstützen dich dabei gerne von Anfang an.
