Stella arrived at the shelter after being abandoned. Still very anxious in her kennel, she can be intimidated when approached and sometimes spit out of fear. There is no aggression behind these reactions: she is simply trying to protect herself from what worries her. She accepts petting, even if she doesn't really enjoy it yet. Stella will need time to understand that she can feel safe and learn to trust gradually. A calm environment would suit her better, with patient people who will know how to move at her pace. She is compatible with children. Her compatibility with other cats remains to be determined.

Stella est arrivée au refuge à la suite d’un abandon. Encore très inquiète dans son box, elle peut se montrer impressionnée lorsqu’on s’approche d’elle et parfois cracher par peur. Il n’y a aucune agressivité derrière ces réactions : elle cherche simplement à se protéger face à ce qui l’inquiète. Elle accepte les caresses, même si elle ne les apprécie pas encore réellement. Stella aura besoin de temps pour comprendre qu’elle peut se sentir en sécurité et apprendre progressivement à faire confiance. Un environnement calme lui conviendrait davantage, avec des personnes patientes qui sauront avancer à son rythme. Elle est compatible avec les enfants. Son entente avec les autres chats reste à déterminer.
