Tessa is a beautiful tri-coloured rescue puppy with lovely markings and an entirely new life ahead of her. She’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog and will be arriving in the UK at the end of October. Alongside her four siblings, Tessa was found amongst the litter at a rubbish dump. Thankfully, the puppies were rescued at a very young age and brought into our care, where safety, kindness and love replaced that difficult beginning. Now Tessa needs a family ready to help her discover the joys of home life. A comfortable bed, time together and gentle introductions to new experiences will give her the foundations to settle in and flourish. Like any puppy, she’ll need patient support with house training, walking on a lead and learning everyday routines. Positive reinforcement and plenty of encouragement will help her learn, with time for play, rest and simply enjoying being a young dog. Tessa’s story began somewhere no puppy should have to call home. Her next chapter could be with you. Health and documentation Tessa will arrive fully vaccinated and with comprehensive health checks, including: Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK. After rescue, all of our pups spend time in private shelters and foster homes, meaning they arrive happy, healthy and well socialised. UK Registered Charity Number 1183775
