Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs ongoing support Can I be left alone? Potentially, once settled Todd has shown that he settled nicely when left for an hour in his foster home, so has potential for this to be built upon. As with any new environment, home alone should be increased at the dog’s pace. Do I have any medical conditions? History of Todd has had a back leg amputation and previously had an ear infection, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? No Additional information Todd has been friendly with small dogs he has met while in our care, however finds larger dogs a bit too worrying. Whilst Todd is still getting used to only having three legs following his recent amputation, he needs to be the only dog in the home. This is while he builds up his confidence and stamina with his new way of life. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? Todd is a very sweet, gentle boy who loves to greet people and will hang around to get a fuss, however he will need a calm home environment that will encourage him to rest and recover. Any children in the home would need to be teenagers aged 13 plus, who will understand Todd’s recovery conditions. What type of environment would suit me? As Todd’s amputation was relatively recent he will need a safe, secure garden to aid his recovery and confidence. About Todd Todd is a charming terrier with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Although he only has three legs, Todd doesn’t let that slow him down. Friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully social, Todd thrives on human companionship. Whether he’s joining you for a gentle walk, relaxing by your side, or happily welcoming visitors, he’s always happiest when he’s part of the action.
