Profiel van honden van Toledo Rescue Mission: Turrón is een van de vijf eerste honden die gered werden uit een perrera in het binnenland van Spanje, die sluit en alle 80 honden, die in verschrikkelijke condities werden gehouden, moeten worden geëvacueerd. Hij is een knappe grote Mastin Mix. Turrón heette ooit Nr. 38, maar dat is nu allemaal achter hem - hij is nu lid van de Triple A Marbella familie, en op zijn snelle weg naar herstel van de verleden van verwaarlozing en ellende, langzaam achter hem laat, maar nog steeds - hij is in een dierenasiel, en zou thuis moeten zijn.... Turrón is een groot zachtebol, en houdt ervan om bij mensen te zijn. Hij kan een beetje wantrouwend zijn tegenover sommige nieuwe mensen, zoals mannen die misschien dreigend of eruitzien als dreigend voor hem, en dan kan hij een klein gegrom laten horen om te signaleren, graag ruimte te geven. Als hij mensen ontmoet die hij direct veilig voelt, zoekt hij menselijke dichtbijheid en houdt er van om zijn kop in je handen, in je elleboog, gewoon om dicht bij je te zijn, en wipt tegelijkertijd zijn staart. Hij vindt zelfs het douchen en wassen leuk, alles wat mensen dichter bij hem brengt. Hij is een rustige, kalme, liefdevolle jongen die een huis zoekt, waar de mensen eerst ruimte geven voor hem om rustig aan te komen, maar wanneer hij zijn schelp verlaat, bieden ze hem al het fysieke contact aan dat hij mist. Voorlopig lijkt hij speciaal dol op vrouwen, waarschijnlijk door de zachtere energie per natuur. Turrón is geen hond die gelukkig zal zijn als hij alleen buiten in de tuin blijft, ver van zijn mensen. Turrón's schouderhoogte is ongeveer 72-73 cm en als hij zichzelf vertrouwd en veilig voelt, zal hij rechtop staan, en er zal zo majestueus uitzien, met zijn mooie crème kleur haar en amandelvormige vlekken. Turron is al met andere vrouwtjeshonden op wandeling geweest en is rustig en vriendelijk tegen hen. Wanneer de contacten te dicht en te snel worden, mag hij nee zeggen of vraagt hij respect voor zijn persoonlijke ruimte met een klein gegrom, wat we waarderen, omdat hij zijn grenzen kan communiceren, zeer goed. Hij zal blijven wandelen met andere sociale honden, en we zijn zeker dat na een korte tijd, we een hondvriend zullen identificeren die hij goed met zichzelf voelt, die respect heeft voor Turron als zacht en teder, en die dingen geleidelijk moet aanpakken.

He is a beautiful big Mastin Mix. Turrón used to be called Nr. 38, but that is now all behind him - he is now a member of Triple A Marbella family, and on his quick way to recovery from the past of neglect and misery slowly staying behind him, but still - he is in a shelter, and he should be in a home.... Turrón is a big softie, and loves to be around people. He can be just a bit suspicious about some new people, like men who might feel or look threatening to him, and then he might release a little growl to signal, to please give him space. When he encounters people that he feels directly safe with, then he is looking for human closeness and loves to put his head in your hands, in your armpits, just to be close to you, and is wagging his tail at the same time. He even likes to be bathed and washed, anything that brings humans closer to him. He is a quiet, calm, kind boy who is looking for a home, where the humans first will give space for him to arrive in peace, but then when he comes out of his shell, offer him all the physical contact he is longing for. For the time being, it seems that he is especially fond of women, probably due to the softer energy by nature. Turrón is not a dog that will be happy staying alone outside in the garden away from his humans. Turrón's shoulder height is approximately 72-73cm and once he is feeling confident and secure, he will stand up straight, and he will look so majestic, with his beautiful creamy fur and almond-colored spots. Turron has been out walking with other female dogs already and he is calm and kind around them. When the contact gets a bit too close too fast, he might say no or ask to respect his personal space with a little growl, which we appreciate, as his is able to communicate his boundaries, very good. He will continue to go for walks with other social dogs, and we are sure that after a short time, we will identify a dog friend that he feels good to be together, who respects that Turron is soft and tender, and needs to take things slowly.
