Update 6.7.2025: Aangename Wedney heeft nog geen eigen huis gevonden. Update 5.5.2025: Woensdag, de enige meisje van de "werkweekdagen", is nog steeds in het dierenasiel. Ze is ongeveer 1 jaar en 3 maanden oud en weegt tot 25 kg. Woensdag is ontspannen, houdt van zonnestralen maar ook van spelen met haar vrienden, zowel mensen als honden. Deze sociale vlinder verlicht je dag. Ze toont een beetje jachtgedrag, maar is snel enthousiast over andere dingen. Ze houdt ervan om te baden en met water te spelen. Woensdag verdient eindelijk een thuis om haar eigen te noemen. Update 17.4.2024: Woensdag is nu zes maanden oud, een meisje dat momenteel in het dierenasiel verblijft. Ze is lief en uitbundig en is op zoek naar een liefdevol permanent thuis. Update 4.7.2024: Woensdag is een beetje gegroeid. Ze geniet van haar dagen met haar broertjes en zusjes. Haar verhaal: In de Verenigde Staten is vandaag Nationale Puppies Dag. Hier op Kreta is elke dag Nationale Puppies Dag. Er zijn dus veel baby's buiten die binnenkomen in het asiel en hoewel we economisch moeizaam zijn en ruimteproblemen hebben, moeten deze baby's erin. Ze zijn de jongsten op straat op dit moment, wat hen prioriteit geeft. Bijna twee maanden oud zijn ze zes jongens en een meisje, en hoewel ik boos zou moeten zijn door de kosten die dit voor ons betekent, kan ik het gewoon niet. Ik word een schoolmeisje als ik grote koppen pups zoals deze zie. Wereld, ontmoet de dagen van de week: Maandag, Dinsdag, Woensdag, Donderdag, Vrijdag, Zaterdag en Zondag.

Gender: female Birthday: January 2024 Castrated/Neutered: yes Weight: 25 kg Back story: Wednesday and her six siblings arrived at the shelter as puppies in March 2024. They had been found on the streets and spent their first two months with the people who found them. Description/Updates/Pictures: Update July 2026: Wednesday is such a wonderful girl. She is incredibly social and is one of our go-to dogs when introducing newcomers to other dogs. She communicates beautifully, gets along with just about everyone, and sometimes even takes on the role of a little “kindergarten teacher” for the younger or less experienced dogs. She is calm, well-balanced, walks on a leash, and is very friendly with people. As Wednesday has spent her entire life growing up in the shelter, she will likely feel unsure in new situations and unfamiliar environments. With patience, understanding, and time to adjust, we're confident she will continue to blossom into an amazing companion. Update July 2025: Sweet Wednesday hasn´t found a home yet. Update May 2025: Wednesday, the only girl of the “weekdays” is still at the shelter. She is about 1 year 3 months old and up to 25kg. Wednesday is easy going, loves to lay in the sun but also to play with her friends both humans and dogs. This social butterfly will lighten your day. She shows some prey drive behavior but is quickly enthusiastic about other things. She loves to take a bath and play with water. Wednesday deserves to finally find a home to call her own Update July 2024: Update April 2024: Wednesday is now 6 month old. She is kind and outgoing and eager to find a loving forever home. Update March 2024: Wednesday has grown a little. She enjoys her days playing with her siblings. “ The Days” at the shelter: Update March 2024: In the US, today is National Puppy Day. Here in Crete, everyday is National Puppy Day. So very many babies outside waiting to get into the shelter and although we are struggling economically and have space issues, these babies must come in. They are the youngest of all on the street right now, which gives them priority. Almost two month, they are six boys and one girl. World meet the days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
