"Xavier" is a friendly young dog who also wants to have a new start in life. Xavier is a bit reserved when he doesn't know someone. He is a food lover, but he has a small weakness: treats! His love for food helps to make contact more easily. Once he is trustful, he can also show affection. When he arrives at his future home, Xavier will probably need some time and his adopter should be patient to help him learn how to better manage loneliness. When left alone, Xavier can become restless by barking or pacing back and forth as he does in our relaxation parks. With regular walks, a stable routine and a progressive and serious training in being alone, he should calm down and better handle these moments. We don't know yet how he gets along with other animals, but tests can be done according to the animals already present in the home. A family with older children could suit him. On the other hand, we will avoid very young children who might still impress him with their activity. This sensitive little dog is looking for someone ready to show him the world at his own pace so that he can become a happy and confident dog.

« Xavier » est un jeune chien sympathique qui attend lui aussi de pouvoir prendre un nouveau départ dans la vie. Xavier est un peu réservé lorsqu’il ne connaît pas. Gourmand, il a toutefois un petit faible : les friandises ! Son côté gourmand aide pour amorcer le contact plus facilement. Une fois en confiance il sait aussi se montrer affectueux. À son arrivée dans son futur foyer, Xavier aura sûrement besoin d’un peu de temps et que son adoptant soit patient pour lui apprendre à mieux gérer la solitude. Lorsqu’il est laissé seul, Xavier peut s’agiter en aboyant ou en faisant les cent pas comme il le fait dans nos parcs de détente. Avec des balades régulières, un quotidien stable et un apprentissage progressif et sérieux de la solitude, il devrait s’apaiser et mieux vivre ces moments. Nous ne connaissons pas encore ses ententes avec les autres animaux mais des tests pourront être réalisés selon les animaux déjà présents dans le foyer. Un famille avec de grands enfants pourrait lui convenir. En revanche nous éviterons les trop petits qui risqueraient encore de l’impressionner par leur agitation. Ce petit loulou sensible recherche une personne prête à lui faire découvrir le monde à son rythme afin qu’il puisse devenir un chien heureux et bien dans ses pattes.
