This cat has been through a lot... For months, she didn't leave the basement until she finally dared to come out for a treat. That's how we managed to catch her for spaying, and at the same time save her from danger - there is a shooter in the yard where she lived, who shoots cats and birds. During the examination, the doctor noticed something unusual. X-ray showed an old fused fracture of the hind leg. The cat doesn't have a knee - the bone has grown incorrectly, spreading apart like a horn. Whether it was a fall from height or a failed jump - we don't know. She will limp forever. That's why she was afraid to leave the basement. The prospects are complicated: in the future, pain, and life on the street is a deadly danger for her. It is impossible to repair the leg: there is no joint, no kneecap. What she feels is hard to even imagine. A specialist consultation is needed, but right now the main thing is recovery after spaying, vaccination and getting used to people. This cat desperately needs a chance for home warmth and care.

Ця киця пережила чимало випробувань… Місяцями вона не виходила з підвалу, доки не наважилася через гульки. Саме так її вдалося зловити для стерилізації, а заодно врятувати від небезпеки – у дворі, де вона жила, є стрілок, що відстрілює котів і птахів. Під час огляду лікар помітив щось незвичайне. Рентген показав старий зрослий перелом задньої лапи. У киці немає коліна – кістка зрослася неправильно, розійшовшись, наче рогатка. Чи це падіння з висоти, чи невдалий стрибок – ми не знаємо. Вона хромає назавжди. Ось чому вона боялася виходити з підвалу. Перспективи складні: у майбутньому, можливо, біль, а життя на вулиці для неї – смертельна небезпека. Ремонт лапи неможливий: немає суглоба, немає колінної чашечки. Що вона відчуває – важко навіть уявити. Потрібна консультація спеціаліста, але зараз головне – відновлення після стерилізації, вакцинація та звикання до людини. Цій киці вкрай потрібен шанс на домашнє тепло та турботу.
