Arno, born circa 2018, neutered, approximately 55cm shoulder height, at the shelter since 2019. Arno is one of the dogs that have been at Maria's shelter for many years without ever receiving a request. He is not approachable, but not panicked, but increasingly shows interest in humans. Unfortunately, the shelter lacks the opportunities to help him with the positive experiences with humans that he so desperately needs. He gets along well with the other dogs, is calm and usually lies peacefully a bit apart. We wish him a home with empathetic and experienced people who can show him what a good dog life is like in peace and without time pressure or expectations. It should be okay in his new home if he never wants to go for a walk or cuddle like a normal dog. Maybe he will be good for one or the other positive surprise. At least a confident first dog, as well as a securely fenced garden with direct access to the house are basic requirements. Since Arno has only poor chances of being adopted, we would be very happy if someone would take a sponsorship for him. Currently located in Romania and allowed to travel out if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites at their arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 03/2024 Arno, geboren ca. 2018, kastriert, ca. 55cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 2019 Arno ist einer der Hunde die sich seit vielen Jahren in Marias Shelter befinden, ohne je eine Anfrage gehabt zu haben. Er ist zwar nicht anfassbar, aber auch nicht panisch, zeigt aber zunehmend Interesse am Menschen. Leider fehlen im Shelter die Möglichkeiten, ihm zu den positiven Erlebnissen mit Menschen zu verhelfen, die er so dringend bräuchte. Er verträgt sich gut mit den anderen Hunden, ist ruhig und liegt meistens friedlich etwas abseits. Wir wünschen uns für ihn ein Zuhause bei einfühlsamen und erfahrenen Menschen, die ihm in Ruhe und ohne Zeitdruck oder Erwartungshaltung zeigen, was ein gutes Hundeleben ist. Es sollte in seinem neuen Zuhause okay sein, wenn er nie wie ein normaler Hund Gassi gehen oder kuscheln will. Vielleicht ist er dann für die eine oder andere positive Überraschung gut. Mindestens ein souveräner Ersthund, sowie ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus sind Grundvoraussetzungen. Da Arno nur schlechte Vermittlungschancen hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Patenschaft für ihn übernimmt. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
