Balu 08/2025 | male Hello, I'm Balu! I'm a cheerful, big puppy with plenty of energy and sometimes still a bit clumsy. I like to come around the corner a bit clumsily, but I'm really a very nice guy. I'm curious, open-minded and get along really well with other dogs. I also like people and could imagine being part of a family. As is typical for a young dog, I still need to learn the basics of dog training. I'm sometimes a bit naive and still have to figure out how to move elegantly through life with my long legs and my substantial weight. I'm looking for people who can show me with patience and loving consistency what's important and who are willing to learn and grow with me. At the moment, there is one important thing: I have been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia, which is why an operation is necessary. That's why I'm looking for people who can imagine giving me a home and initially taking me in as a foster dog with the option of a later permanent placement. Our association will cover the costs of the necessary operation. So I can be medically cared for in peace and still get to know my people. Balu 08/2025 | männlich Hallo, ich bin Balu! Ich bin ein fröhlicher, großer Junghund mit ordentlich Energie und manchmal noch etwas wenig Gefühl für meine eigene Größe. Ich komme gerne etwas tollpatschig um die Ecke, bin dabei aber wirklich ein ganz lieber Kerl. Ich bin neugierig, aufgeschlossen und verstehe mich mit anderen Hunden richtig gut. Auch Menschen finde ich toll und könnte mir gut vorstellen, Teil einer Familie zu sein. Wie es sich für einen jungen Hund gehört, muss ich das Hunde-1×1 noch lernen. Ich bin manchmal noch etwas naiv und muss erst herausfinden, wie man sich mit meinen langen Beinen und meinem stattlichen Gewicht elegant durchs Leben bewegt. Ich wünsche mir Menschen, die mir mit Geduld und liebevoller Konsequenz zeigen, was wichtig ist, und die Lust haben, gemeinsam mit mir zu lernen und zu wachsen. Im Moment gibt es allerdings noch eine wichtige Sache: Bei mir wurde eine Ellenbogendysplasie festgestellt, weshalb eine Operation notwendig ist. Deshalb suche ich Menschen, die sich vorstellen können, mir ein Zuhause zu geben und mich zunächst als Pflegehund mit Option auf eine spätere Endstelle aufzunehmen. Die Kosten für die notwendige Operation übernimmt unser Verein. So darf ich in Ruhe medizinisch versorgt werden und trotzdem schon bei meinen Menschen ankommen.
