Barney er en levende 9 år gammel gutt som er full av energi og er klar til å gå. Han er svært smart og elsker trening, så vi håper å finne en familie med interesse for å fortsette dette. Når han ikke er ute og omkring, er Barney glad for å ligge over bakken av sin sovepose på en veldig kattliknende måte. Han er også en agility-stjerne og vil ofte hoppe opp på utstyret og vise fram ferdighetene sine! Når Barney har lyst, kan han være en riktig snuggle, og liker å være tett ved deg, bare å se verden passere. Barney trenger en spesiell familie som er villig til å jobbe med ham, og gi ham tid til å slå seg inn uten å presse ham. Det er viktig at Barney bor i et stille, barn- og dyrfritt miljø, helst med få besøkende, og har egen hage. Han er under et treningprogram i sentrum som må holdes vedlike i hjemmet, og han vil trenge flere møter her før han går hjem. Full støtte vil bli gitt av vår Trening og Oppførselsgruppe gjennom hele barneys adopteringsprosess, og adoptørene må være villige til å jobbe tett sammen med teamet. Selv om Barney vil gå med hunder han har fått en god introduksjon til, vil han trenge å være den eneste hunden i huset. Han er en super gutt som bare trenger noen som vil ta ansvar for ham, og gjøre gradvis introduksjoner til nye mennesker og steder. Barney trenger tid til å lære seg sin nye familie før han går hjem, og vil trenge flere besøk i sentrum.

Barney is a lively 9 year old boy who is bursting with energy and is raring to go. He's incredibly smart and loves training, so we're hoping to find a family with an interest in carrying this on. When he's not out and about, Barney is happy to lounge across the back of his sofa in a very cat like fashion. He's an agility star too, and will often leap on the equipment and show off his skills! When Barney's in the mood, he can be a real snuggler, and likes to be close by you, just watching the world go by. Barney needs a special family who are willing to work with him, and allow him time to settle without pushing him. It's essential that Barney lives in a quiet, child and pet free environment, preferably with few visitors, and has his own garden. He is under a training program at the centre that will need to be kept up in the home, and he will need multiple meets here before he goes home. Full support will be given by our Training and Behaviour Team, throughout all stages of Barney's adoption, and his adopters must be willing to work closely with the team. Although Barney will walk with dogs he's had a proper introduction to, he will need to be the only dog in the home. He is a super boy who just needs someone to commit to him, and make slow introductions to new people and places. Barney needs time to get to know his new family before he goes home, and will need multiple visits at the centre.
