Caramel arrived at the shelter through a transfer from another organization. Imposing at first glance, he doesn't always present himself well at his kennel gate because he's uncomfortable in the noisy environment. However, looking beyond this first impression reveals an adorable dog with an immense heart. Caramel is gentle, kind, very cuddly and incredibly affectionate with those who take time to know him. He seeks a calm home where he can finally enjoy a cozy bed and peaceful life. He doesn't get along with cats, but seems to ignore other dogs; we think he could share daily life with a calm female. Caramel can also live with older children capable of respecting his pace and sensitivity. He deserves a family who will offer the gentleness and security he has long awaited.
