There is a dog who every day waits for just one thing: to step out of his box and finally feel free. Dorvik is a mixed-breed dog of medium size, about 20 kg, born presumably in November 2020, though time and life seem to have left a few extra years on him. He was abandoned in the autumn of 2022 and has been waiting ever since for someone to notice him. At first, he may seem a bit gruff, almost a grumbler. But just approach him calmly, put the leash on him, and he changes: he lets himself be touched, petted, and gently guided. And most of all, he makes it clear, with everything he is, how much he desires to step out of that box. It's impossible not to be moved by his eyes full of hope and that prognathic, funny, and very tender muzzle, which makes him truly special. Dorvik gets along well with other dogs, both male and female. What he really lacks is a family that gives him the time to trust and the warmth of a home. After so much time in a dog shelter, Dorvik deserves finally to feel loved. He is located in a private, conventionally accredited dog shelter in the province of Rome but we can also place him in the north after the necessary pre-adoption home checks, he is vaccinated, neutered, tested for leishmaniasis, and of course, microchipped.

C’è un cane che ogni giorno aspetta solo una cosa: uscire dal suo box e sentirsi finalmente libero. Dorvik è un meticcio di taglia media, circa 20 kg, nato presumibilmente a novembre 2020, anche se il tempo e la vita sembrano avergli lasciato addosso qualche anno in più. È stato abbandonato nell’autunno del 2022 e da allora aspetta qualcuno che si accorga di lui. All’inizio può sembrare un po’ burbero, quasi un brontolone. Ma basta avvicinarsi con calma, infilargli il guinzaglio e lui cambia: si lascia toccare, accarezzare, guidare con delicatezza. E soprattutto fa capire, con tutto sé stesso, quanto desideri uscire da quel box. È impossibile non commuoversi davanti ai suoi occhi pieni di speranza e a quel musetto prognato, buffo e tenerissimo, che lo rende davvero speciale. Dorvik va d’accordo con gli altri cani, sia maschi che femmine. Quello che gli manca davvero è una famiglia che gli dia il tempo di fidarsi e il calore di una casa. Dopo tanto tempo in canile, Dorvik merita finalmente di sentirsi amato. Si trova in un canile privato convenzionato in provincia di Roma ma lo affidiamo anche al nord, dopo le dovute verifiche preaffido, vaccinato, sterilizzato, testato leishmania e ovviamente con microchip.
