Due to her sensitive nature, she could live with calm, older secondary school-aged children who can respect her boundaries. Emma can be strong on the lead, so her adopters should be confident handling a larger, energetic breed and committed to continuing her training. Emma is a beautiful three-year-old Siberian Husky looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to grow in confidence. Currently thriving in foster care, she has settled in well and enjoys exploring both the home and garden. Emma is a sensitive girl who can be nervous, particularly around loud noises, and she is wary of having her collar or head touched, often retreating when worried. She will need gentle, predictable handling and plenty of positive reinforcement to help her build trust with her new family. Once she feels secure, Emma's affectionate side shines through, and she loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa for a cuddle. She is friendly with new people, enjoys human company, and can be left for short periods once she has completed her settling-in period.
