Emory is a dog and a son of Lena (for virtual adoption on our website). Most of the pups from that litter have already found a home, but he and his sister are still waiting for their chance. He is staying with rescuer Timea. With a height of about 63 cm and a weight of around 30 kg, he is a large dog. Despite his size, he has a gentle and sensitive character. In April 2026, our volunteers went to Romania. There, they met Emory personally. During our meeting, it immediately becomes clear that Emory has a calm presence. At first, he may be a bit shy around strangers. He takes some time to observe and explore his surroundings. Once he feels comfortable, he comes closer on his own and seeks contact. Additionally, he is a dog that reacts strongly to the energy of people. He is sensitive and adapts to whoever is with him. This creates a natural connection. Furthermore, he enjoys calmly sniffing around and takes his time to absorb everything. He remains calm and balanced without imposing himself. It is precisely this combination of gentleness and calmness that makes him a nice dog to be with. Although he still needs to get used to life outside the shelter, he shows that with patience and guidance, he can develop well. With the right guidance, he can grow into a stable and loyal house dog. Emory is een reu en een zoon van Lena (voor virtuele adoptie op onze website). De meeste pups uit dat nest hebben inmiddels een thuis gevonden, maar hij en zijn zus wachten nog op hun kans. Hij verblijft bij rescuer Timea. Met een schofthoogte van ongeveer 63 cm en een gewicht van rond de 30 kilo is hij een grote hond. Ondanks zijn formaat heeft hij een zacht en gevoelig karakter. In april 2026 gingen onze vrijwilligers naar Roemenië. Daar hebben zij Emory persoonlijk ontmoet. Tijdens onze ontmoeting valt direct op dat Emory een rustige aanwezigheid heeft. In eerste instantie kan hij wat verlegen zijn naar onbekenden. Hij neemt even de tijd om te observeren en zijn omgeving te verkennen. Zodra hij zich echter op zijn gemak voelt, komt hij vanzelf dichterbij en zoekt hij contact. Daarnaast is hij een hond die sterk reageert op de energie van mensen. Hij is gevoelig en stemt zich af op degene die bij hem is. Daardoor ontstaat er op een natuurlijke manier verbinding. Verder snuffelt hij graag rustig rond en neemt hij de tijd om alles in zich op te nemen. Hij blijft daarbij kalm en evenwichtig, zonder zich op te dringen. Juist deze combinatie van zachtheid en rust maakt hem een fijne hond om bij te zijn. Hoewel hij nog moet wennen aan het leven buiten de opvang, laat hij zien dat hij zich met geduld en begeleiding goed kan ontwikkelen. Met de juiste begeleiding kan hij uitgroeien tot een stabiele en trouwe huishond. Tenslotte is Emory een grote, lieve en zachtaardige jongen die sterk gehecht is aan mensen. Emory is klaar om de spannende reis naar Nederland te maken.
