We care for outdoor cats that we have already neutered, but which would not do well in indoor conditions. A new cat appeared in this area. We caught it, it was placed in a quarantine cage and is waiting for neutering. When it was first brought in, it could not be touched because it was wild, it was probably a stray cat kitten, but now it purrs when petted. If we reach for it, it still hisses, but it does not bite, does not attack, accepts the petting and enjoys it because it purrs. It gets along well with other cats, but only after it leaves the quarantine and goes to the cat room will it be clear whether it can be fully tamed and placed in a family or whether it will become wild again among the other cats (in a colony situation). In the latter case, we will return it to its original home, but for now we hope it will be fully tamed. FIV-FELV negative, house-trained cat.

A menhelyen kinti, általunk már ivartalanított, de vad cicákat is gondozunk, akik a benti tartást nagyon rosszul viselnék és ezen a környéken feltűnt egy új cica. Becsapdáztuk, bekerült a karanténketrecbe és ivartalanításra vár. Bekerülésekor nem lehetett hozzányúlni mert vad volt, valószínűleg kóbor cica kölyke lehetett, de mostanra már dorombol, ha simogatjuk. Ha felé nyúlunk, még fúj, de nem harap, nem támad, elfogadja a simogatást és élvezi is hisz dorombol. Más cicákkal jó a kapcsolata, de ha kikerül majd a karanténból a cicaszobába, akkor fog csak kiderülni, hogy teljesen megszelídíthető és családba helyezhető-e vagy a többi cica között (kolónia-helyzetben) ismét elvadul-e. Utóbbi esetben vissza fogjuk helyezni eredeti lakóhelyére, de egyelőre bízunk benne, hogy teljesen meg fog szelídülni. FIV-FELV negatív, szobatiszta cica.
