This is Ercan, a beautiful young Shepherd mix who was rescued along with his five brothers from a killing station. He has been with us for a while now, and we hope he will soon find that one special home where he can be himself. Ercan is a gentle and sensitive boy. He can be a bit reserved in new situations and still gets startled during walks or when faced with unexpected stimuli. But behind that caution lies a warm, affectionate dog who opens up once he trusts you. Then he turns into a real cuddly bear who enjoys your attention and closeness. He is social with other dogs, but feels most comfortable around females. In their company he relaxes more easily and his playful side comes out. Ercan is looking for a home where he can settle down in peace, where his pace is respected and he is helped to build trust. With love, patience and stability, he will grow into a loyal companion for life.

Dit is Ercan, een prachtige jonge Herdermix die samen met zijn vijf broertjes gered werd uit een dodingsstation. Ondertussen verblijft hij al een hele tijd bij ons, en we hopen zó dat hij binnenkort die éne speciale thuis mag vinden waar hij helemaal zichzelf mag zijn. Ercan is een zachtaardige en gevoelige jongen. Hij kan wat terughoudend zijn in nieuwe situaties en schrikt soms nog tijdens wandelingen of bij onverwachte prikkels. Maar achter die voorzichtigheid schuilt een warme, aanhankelijke hond, die zich helemaal openstelt eens hij je vertrouwt. Dan verandert hij in een échte knuffelbeer die geniet van jouw aandacht en nabijheid. Hij is sociaal met andere honden, maar voelt zich het meest op zijn gemak bij teefjes. In hun gezelschap ontspant hij makkelijker en komt zijn speelse kant naar boven. Ercan zoekt een thuis waar hij in alle rust mag wennen, waar men zijn tempo respecteert en hem helpt vertrouwen op te bouwen. Met liefde, geduld en stabiliteit zal hij uitgroeien tot een trouwe metgezel voor het leven.
