Filius, who is a bit over 2 years old, led a hard and deprived life as a stray. The sad fact that he, at a proud height of 60 cm, only weighs 18 kg, shows more than clearly how much he has suffered from constant hunger. When he was attacked and severely bitten by a pack of dogs, he couldn't even defend himself due to his weakness. Given this serious situation, we couldn't allow him to continue being exposed to the dangers of the street and had to bring him to safety in our private shelter. His physical wounds are healing, and he has fortunately not lost his trust in his fellow animals, as he still shows them openness and friendliness. However, he prefers to be near us two-legged beings. He adores cuddles and is always eager to do nothing wrong to please. It's especially touching when he comes to someone, puts his head in their arms, and just wants to feel loved and secure. Unfortunately, the busy daily routine of the shelter leaves little time for affection and attention, which is a hardship for love-seeking dogs like Filius. Therefore, a move to a caring home would be a dream come true. An offer for a suitable foster home would of course be gladly accepted by Filius without hesitation. Due to his slightly shortened tail, he is not allowed to enter Switzerland. It's often difficult or impossible to determine the exact breed of mixed breeds. Filius resembles a Mioritic with his build and the gray-white fur, which he actually carries a bit longer and frizzier. We cannot rule out herding dog genes. Therefore, potential adopters should familiarize themselves with the special characteristics of this wonderful breed. They are known for their deep loyalty, even temper, and high intelligence, but also for a certain independence and protective nature. Filius requires a lot of exercise and would feel most comfortable in a more rural setting with a garden and close family ties. Of course, our Filius still needs a lot of training and should be gently accustomed to life in the house. His exemplary and almost graceful behavior during current linen training – he doesn't pull and responds well to guidance – highlights his accessible and gentle nature. We are therefore optimistic that he will continue to train with great joy and willingness to learn alongside his new favorite humans. A dog training class that focuses on positive reinforcement could perhaps provide a valuable and varied support here. Filius, der etwas über 2 Jahre alt ist, führte ein hartes und entbehrungsreiches Leben als Streuner. Die traurige Tatsache, dass er bei einer stolzen Größe von 60 cm nur 18 kg wiegt, zeigt mehr als deutlich, wie sehr er unter ständigem Hunger gelitten hat. Als er von einem Hunderudel angegriffen und schlimm gebissen wurde, konnte er sich aufgrund seiner Schwäche nicht einmal verteidigen. Angesichts dieser ernsten Situation durften wir nicht zulassen, dass er weiterhin den Gefahren der Straße ausgesetzt ist und haben ihn in unserem privaten Shelter in Sicherheit gebracht. Seine körperlichen Wunden heilen, und auch das Vertrauen in seine Artgenossen hat er zum Glück nicht verloren, denn er zeigt sich ihnen weiterhin offen und zugewandt. Noch lieber ist er jedoch in der Nähe von uns Zweibeinern. Er mag Streicheleinheiten unheimlich gerne und ist stets bemüht, nichts falsch zu machen, um zu gefallen. Besonders rührend ist es, wenn er zu einem kommt, seinen Kopf in die Arme legt und sich einfach nur geliebt und geborgen fühlen möchte. Im hektischen Alltag des Shelters bleibt leider kaum Zeit für Zuwendung und Aufmerksamkeit, was gerade liebesbedürftige Hunde wie Filius stark leiden lässt. Deshalb wäre ein baldiger Umzug in ein fürsorgliches Zuhause ein Traum. Ein Angebot für eine passende Pflegestelle würde Filius natürlich auch ohne zu zögern gerne annehmen. Aufgrund seiner etwas verkürzten Rute ist ihm die Einreise in die Schweiz allerdings nicht erlaubt. Genaue Rassedeutungen sind bei Mischlingen oft schwierig bis unmöglich. Filius ähnelt mit seiner Statur und dem grau-weißen Fell, das er eigentlich etwas länger und fransiger trägt, einem Mioritic. Herdenschutzhundgene können wir somit nicht ausschließen. Seine potenziellen Adoptanten sollten sich daher mit den speziellen Eigenschaften dieser wunderbaren Rasse vertraut machen. Bekannt sind sie für ihre tiefe Loyalität, Ausgeglichenheit und hohe Intelligenz, aber auch für eine gewisse Selbstständigkeit und eine beschützende Natur. Filius benötigt zudem viel Bewegung und würde sich in einem eher ländlichen Umfeld mit Garten und engem Familienanschluss am wohlsten fühlen. Unser Filius braucht natürlich noch reichlich Erziehung und sollte behutsam an das Leben im Haus gewöhnt werden. Sein vorbildliches und beinahe anmutiges Verhalten beim aktuellen Leinentraining – er zieht nicht und lässt sich gut anleiten – betont seine zugängliche und sanfte Art. Wir sind daher zuversichtlich, dass er auch weiterhin mit großer Freude und Lernbereitschaft Seite an Seite mit seinen neuen Lieblingsmenschen trainiert. Eine Hundeschule, die auf positive Verstärkung setzt, könnte hierbei vielleicht eine wertvolle und abwechslungsreiche Unterstützung bieten. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr in Höhe von 500 Euro reist Filius kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis.
