He likes pats but does not like being hugged too much. He is rather wary of strangers on the street (barking) but accepts them willingly in the house. He gets along well with other dogs and tends to be the follower. With children, we will avoid young ones. He is not comfortable when babies/toddlers move too much. He knows how to stay alone at home without destroying anything but tends to bark. However, when there is someone at home, you won't hear him. On walks, he is used to going out on a leash or lead. Due to a bad experience with a bicycle, he barks at bicycles and scooters when they are too close to him. He likes traveling by car and is not prone to motion sickness. Story Since the arrival of the family's baby six months ago, his owner has had less time for him. He has growled several times at the baby when it was in his mother's arms. However, he does not growl when the baby is in his father's arms. He does not like when the baby moves in its playpen and he is at the edge (in the dog's view). He can also growl. Il apprécie les caresses mais n'aime pas lorsqu'on le serre trop. Il est plutôt méfiant envers les inconnus dans la rue (aboiements) mais, dans la maison, il les accepte volontiers. Il s'entend bien avec les autres chiens et a tendance à être le suiveur. Avec les enfants, on évitera ceux en bas âge. Il n'est pas à l'aise lorsque les bébés/petits enfants bougent trop. Il sait rester seul à la maison sans détruire mais il a tendance à aboyer. Par contre, lorsqu'il y a une présence à la maison, on ne l'entend pas. En balade, il est habitué à sortir en laisse ou en longe. Suite à une mauvaise expérience avec un vélo, il aboie sur les vélos et les trottinettes lorsque ceux-ci sont trop près de lui. Il aime voyager en voiture et n'est pas malade. HistoireDepuis l'arrivée du bébé de la famille, il y a 6 mois, sa maîtresse a moins de temps à lui consacrer. Il a grogné, à plusieurs reprises, sur le bébé lorsqu'il était dans les bras de sa maman. Par contre, il ne grogne pas lorsque le bébé est dans les bras de son papa. Il n'aime pas lorsque le bébé bouge dans son parc et qu'il se trouve au bord (à la vue du chien). Il peut aussi grogner. Foyer recherchéFloki est un jeune chien plein d'énergie. Il aura besoin d'une famille présente, sportive et qui aime les balades. Il a pratiqué l'agility durant quelques mois et il appréciait cette activité. On évitera les enfants en-dessous de 8 ans. Il a de l'amour à revendre! Il appréciera les moments calmes avec ses maîtres, comme les siestes dans le canapé. BorderlineCollie est une association sans but lucratif.
