Of this litter, the white female immediately found a family among those who rescued them; Harlock and Candy are still at the shelter. Estimated to be medium-sized as of April 2024, they are yet another litter abandoned in the countryside during summer... They come from Barge, and the person who first alerted us to their presence—and before we managed to get them safely into care—also told us that one of their little brothers had been hit and killed by a car on the road in broad daylight... We’re at a loss for words to describe the indifference of those who still fail to recognize the value of spaying or neutering... not to mention those who abandon them outright! As of January 2025, Harlock is still with us; he’s growing up at the kennel. Please help us find him a forever home!
