Elle a cependant une particularité importante : elle supporte très difficilement d’être enfermée ou isolée. Lorsqu’elle se sent contrainte, elle peut ouvrir des portes, mordiller les poignées ou chercher à s’échapper en tirant sur les clôtures souples. Ce comportement n’est pas de l’agressivité, mais plutôt une grande difficulté à gérer l’enfermement. Laïka aura besoin d’un environnement adapté, avec des clôtures solides et sécurisées, ainsi que de personnes disponibles, patientes et conscientes de ses besoins. Elle conviendra davantage à une famille active, présente au quotidien, prête à lui offrir de l’exercice, des activités stimulantes et un accompagnement bienveillant.
