Date of arrival: 04/30/2026 Crossbreed German Shepherd Laika is an endearing, intelligent, and energetic dog. However, she has an important characteristic: she finds it very difficult to be confined or isolated. When she feels constrained, she may attempt to open doors, gnaw on handles, or try to escape by pulling on flexible fences. This behavior is not aggression, but rather a significant difficulty in managing confinement. Laika will need an appropriate environment, with sturdy and secure fencing, as well as people who are available, patient, and aware of her needs. She will be better suited to an active family, present in daily life, ready to provide her with exercise, stimulating activities, and kind companionship. With the right framework and understanding, Laika has a lot of affection and wonderful qualities to offer. We are looking for a responsible adoption for her, with people prepared to give her the time and attention she needs to thrive over the long term.
