Meet Larry 🐾❤️ Larry is one of those dogs who really makes you appreciate just how far patience, love and understanding can take a dog. Larry arrived at Almost Home 18 months ago after being found as a stray in Armagh with his two siblings, who have long since found their forever homes. Larry, however, needed a little more time. When he first arrived, Larry was terrified. He had never really been handled or given the chance to understand that people could be trusted, and he certainly wasn’t the easiest boy at the beginning. But over the past 18 months, he has come such a long way. Today, Larry is a completely different dog. ❤️ Once he knows you and feels safe in his environment, he is full of life, fun and personality. He loves being out and about and is now walking fantastically on the lead. Watching him grow in confidence has been amazing. We’re now looking for a very special home for Larry — one that understands that he may need a little time to settle and build a relationship, but will be rewarded with a wonderful, fun-loving boy once he does. 🐶 Larry would ideally like to live with another dog, male or female. We feel having a confident canine companion will really help him, as Larry takes his cues from other dogs and learns from them. Larry isn’t looking for a home that expects everything to happen overnight. He’s looking for someone willing to give him the time, patience and consistency he deserves.
