Male Pitbull dog Marley has spent his entire life in the animal shelter and has never had the chance to develop in a calm home with stable conditions. Marley has great potential—he’s smart, open-minded, friendly toward people, and shows good social behavior with other dogs as well. However, in the animal shelter he is almost constantly on edge, and sometimes displacement behaviors occur. He then vents his frustration by destroying blankets, sticks, his muzzle, leashes, harnesses, or other objects. When he’s in this agitated state—caught up in his “movie”—it’s absolutely impossible to get through to him; patience is essential. Sometimes, though, it’s the human who ends up serving as a punching bag. Marley snaps at hands and arms without any real intent to cause serious injury, but bruises and scratches still happen. This behavior is purely an act of desperation and has absolutely nothing to do with “status aggression” or anything similar! You can always reconnect with him, and you’ll keep having good moments together—the calmer and more understanding you remain, the closer your bond with Marley will become. He wants and needs peace and love! During medical training sessions with the dog trainer, he’s increasingly able to manage without a muzzle. Marley has the potential to grow and become a delightful companion—if someone is willing to give him a chance at age 6?! Cats and small children should not be present in his new home. This animal has a history of biting.

Pitbull-Rüde Marley hat sein gesamtes Leben im Tierheim verbraucht und durfte nie die Erfahrung machen, sich in einem ruhigen Zuhause unter geregelten Bedingungen zu entfalten. Marley hat viel Potenzial, er ist schlau, aufgeschlossen, freundlich zu Menschen und hat auch innerartlich ein gutes Sozialverhalten. Im Tierheim ist er aber so gut wie immer unter Strom und manchmal passiert es, dass es zu Übersprungshandlungen kommt. Er lässt seinen Frust dann an Decken, Stöcken, seinem Maulkorb, Leinen, Geschirren oder sonstigen Gegenständen aus (Zerstörung). An diese ist auch absolut nicht ranzukommen wenn er in seinem „Film“ ist. Da ist Geduld gefragt. Manchmal ist es aber auch der Mensch der als Boxsack fungiert. Marley schnappt ohne ernsthafte Beschädigungsabsicht in Hände und Arme. Aber blaue Flecken und Kratzer macht’s trotzdem. Dieses Verhalten ist eine absolute Verzweiflungstat und hat rein gar nichts mit „Statusaggression“ o.ä. zu tun! Man kommt immer wieder an ihn heran, man hat immer wieder gute Zeiten und je ruhiger und verständnisvoller man bleibt, umso enger macht es die Beziehung zu Marley. Er will und braucht Ruhe und Liebe! Beim Medical Training mit der Hundetrainerin ist immer mehr ohne Maulkorb möglich. Marley hat Potenzial zu wachsen und sich zu einem bezaubernden Weggefährten zu entwickeln - wenn ihm jemand mit seinen 6 Jahren noch eine Chance geben will?! Katzen und kleine Kinder sollten nicht im neuen Zuhause sein.
