Meet Mia – Our Golden Oldie Looking for a Forever Home Mia may be a golden oldie, but she still has plenty of life, love, and adventures ahead of her. She's a sweet, gentle girl who has really come out of her shell in foster care and is now ready to find a family of her own.When Mia first arrived, she was understandably worried and unsure of the world around her. She preferred to hide away and took a little time to trust people. Fast forward just one week, and she's transformed into an affectionate companion who loves being close to her favourite people. She'll happily curl up on your lap, lean against you on the sofa, and even tuck herself in upstairs at bedtime.Mia enjoys her walks and has grown in confidence every day. She now loves getting out to explore, taking in all the interesting sights and smells around her. She would be happiest with someone who can enjoy two gentle walks a day of around 30 minutes each, followed by plenty of cuddles at home.She has lived happily alongside another dog in foster care, sharing meals, car journeys, and the garden without any issues. She can be a little unsure when meeting unfamiliar dogs out and about, so slow introductions are recommended. Like many little dogs, she's also quite interested in wildlife and will happily let you know if she spots a squirrel, cat, or bird!Mia has settled well into home life, although she may need a little patience with her toilet routine while she adjusts to a new environment. She's making progress and thrives with a consistent routine.Although Mia does have some medical issues, she remains active, agile, and enjoys climbing, jumping, and exploring.
