Il aura besoin de temps pour donner sa confiance à un potentiel adoptant. Une fois celle-ci atteinte, Il se montre demandeur d'attention envers celui avec qui il se sent en sécurité, gourmand et très joueur. Novak ne tolère pas ses congénères ni les chats et il ne pourra pas vivre avec des enfants.
