Ornella is a small female dog, a delicate little follow-up to a small female dog that wins hearts with her gentleness and deep, sweet, hopeful eyes. She was found wandering in the South of Italy while pregnant. She raised her puppies with love and watched them depart for their families. She, on the other hand, remained to wait for her chance, first in a temporary animal shelter and then arriving with us. Despite everything she has lived through, she retains a good temperament. She is an extremely sweet, balanced, and sensitive small female dog. Initially, she is shy with people she doesn’t know, but a few attentions and a gentle approach are enough for her to begin to trust and follow you affectionately. She faces difficulties without reactivity, even in situations that can scare her or put her in a difficult position; she does not react impulsively but observes, seeks reassurance, and relies on those around her, showing a stable character and a predisposition to collaboration. With other dogs, she is compatible and relates well, especially with well-behaved and respectful companions of her own pace and sensitivity.

Ornella è una simil segugetta di taglia piccola, una cagnolina delicata che conquista il cuore con la sua gentilezza e i suoi occhi profondi, pieni di dolcezza e speranza. È stata trovata vagante nel Sud Italia mentre era incinta. Ha cresciuto i suoi cuccioli con amore e li ha visti partire verso le loro famiglie. Lei, invece, è rimasta ad aspettare la sua occasione, prima in un rifugio di fortuna e poi arrivando da noi. Nonostante tutto ciò che ha vissuto ha conservato un buon carattere. È una cagnolina estremamente dolce, equilibrata e sensibile. Inizialmente si mostra timida con le persone che non conosce, ma bastano poche attenzioni e un approccio gentile perché inizi a fidarsi e a seguirti con affetto. Affronta le difficoltà senza reattività, anche nelle situazioni che possono spaventarla o metterla in difficoltà non reagisce in modo impulsivo: osserva, cerca rassicurazione e si affida a chi le sta accanto, dimostrando un carattere stabile e predisposizione alla collaborazione. Con gli altri cani è compatibile e si relaziona bene, soprattutto con compagni educati e rispettosi dei suoi tempi e della sua sensibilità.
