History of Patrick in our animal shelter began almost a year ago with a late-night phone call. Around two in the morning, we were informed that a woman in an unfavorable situation was being taken away with seven puppies. The clinics were already closed, two of the puppies were in agony, and the rest were suffering from bloody diarrhea. Waiting until morning was not an option—someone needed to try and give them a chance. So, Patrick, along with his brothers and sisters, found himself in our shelter. Unfortunately, two of his sisters did not make it by morning. One of his brothers was lost the following day. Patrick, Zahar, Zoya, and Petro survived. Over almost a year, the little ones grew, strengthened, matured, and learned to trust humans. During this time, they all found their families. Except for Patrick. And to be honest, it still remains a mystery to me. Patrick looks like a little rabbit. He has unusual fur—very soft, fluffy, and pleasant to the touch. He is a beautiful dog, but his main feature is not his appearance. Patrick is incredibly intelligent. I understand that every guardian can say the same about their dog, but in Patrick's case, it's true. He is attentive, gentle, and very observant. He analyzes everything happening around him, reads human emotions well, and seems to always be a step ahead. Patrick is a very gentle and delicate dog. He does not push himself on anyone but always wants to be with his human. He values contact, attention, and a sense of security. The hardest for Patrick to endure are airstrikes and air raids. During attacks and drone strikes, he begins to have panic attacks. He receives the necessary support, but unfortunately, many of us know what it's like to live in constant stress. Animals feel it too. I dream very much that Patrick will finally find his home. A family that will see in him not just a dog from the animal shelter, but a true friend and a family member. He has survived a difficult start in life, lost a part of his family, but not his trust in people. And I really want, for him, to finally find a person who will make him the best dog in the world.

Історія Патріка в нашому притулку почалася майже рік тому з нічного телефонного дзвінка. Близько другої години ночі нам повідомили, що у неблагополучної жінки терміново забирають сімох цуценят. Клініки вже не працювали, двоє малюків перебували в агонії, решта страждали від кривавої діареї. Чекати до ранку було не можна — потрібно було хоча б спробувати дати їм шанс. Так Патрік разом зі своїми братиками та сестричками опинився у нас. На жаль, до ранку дві його сестрички не дожили. Ще одного братика ми втратили протягом наступної доби. Вижити вдалося Патріку, Захару, Зої та Петрі. Майже рік малюки росли, міцнішали, дорослішали та вчилися довіряти людям. За цей час усі вони знайшли свої родини. Усі, крім Патріка. І якщо чесно, для мене це досі залишається загадкою. Патрік схожий на маленьке лисеня. У нього незвичайна шерсть — дуже м’яка, пухнаста та приємна на дотик. Він красивий пес, але його головна особливість зовсім не зовнішність. Патрік неймовірно розумний. Я розумію, що кожен опікун може сказати так про свою собаку, але у випадку Патріка це справді так. Він уважний, ніжний та дуже спостережливий. Він аналізує все, що відбувається навколо, чудово зчитує емоції людини та ніби завжди на крок попереду. Патрік дуже лагідний і делікатний собака. Він не нав’язується, але завжди хоче бути поруч зі своєю людиною. Йому важливий контакт, увага та відчуття безпеки. Найважче Патрік переносить обстріли та повітряні тривоги. Під час атак і прольотів шахедів у нього починаються панічні атаки. Він отримує необхідну підтримку, але, на жаль, сьогодні багато хто з нас знає, що таке жити в постійному стресі. Тварини теж це відчувають. Я дуже мрію, щоб Патрік нарешті знайшов свій дім. Родину, яка побачить у ньому не просто собаку з притулку, а справжнього друга та члена сім’ї. Він пережив важкий старт у житті, втратив частину своєї родини, але не втратив довіри до людей. І мені дуже хочеться, щоб поруч із ним нарешті з’явилася людина, для якої він стане найкращим собакою у світі.
