PopeyeMale dog, medium in size. Staffy cross, born in January 2018. Good with people and children, can be homed with children aged 12+. Good with female dogs but can be choosy with his male dog company, we are therefore looking for a dog free or female dog home only for Popeye. Popeye has been with us for quite some time, and we would truly love for them to find his forever home. Because of this, and thanks to some lovely sponsors, we have reduced Popeye’s adoption fee to £450. Meet PopeyeThis lovely male Staffy mix is Popeye. He was rescued from a government pound having been dumped there by his owner. He was terrified and had to be coaxed out of the kennel when he was eventually moved to safety. It took six months for Popeye to be comfortable and unafraid of people. Our Trustees visited in October 23 and it was a joy to see Popeye so welcoming to them as strangers, actively wanting fuss and attention and being super happy to see them, a far cry from the timid, withdrawn boy he was and testament to how dogs can be so wonderful. Popeye is neutered and fully vaccinated. He loves children and is mesmerised by our rescuers young son when he visits him at his pension. He can be homed with children aged 12+ Popeye is good with female dogs but can be choosy with his male dog company, we are therefore looking for a dog free or female dog home only for Popeye.
