Poppy is a sweet girl who has not had the best start in life and as such is a worried girl. She is looking for patient and understanding adopters who can offer a quiety home environment and help support her with the training she needs to build confidence and overcome her generalised anxiety. Poppy is a 1 year old Patterdale Terrier. She is a worried girl looking for a home where she can be the only pet and where any children are of Older Secondary School age and above. She would like someone at home with her most of the time initially to help her settle in, leaving hours could be built up slowly once settled and she would likely benefit from a safe space she can retreat to. Poppy will need her own, private garden to provide an outlet for exercise while she builds confidence with the outside world. Part of Poppy’s adoption process will include home visits and sleepovers to help get her used to her new home environment so her new family will need to live within a reasonable distance of the Centre.
