Salty went missing five years ago when he was two years old; there were no sightings and his owners had given up hope then ten months ago they received a call to say he’d been handed in at a vet 🙂 The only problem was they now had four other cats and Salty hated them – meal times were a particular trigger as he’d obviously gone hungry on the streets and he became aggressive fighting for his share. He takes about a week to settle in a new home and then loves a fuss – chin rubs are a particular favourite and he’s beginning to sit on laps again. He’s a sweet boy who’s been traumatised and would love a quiet home as an only pet. Sudden movements or too much noise make him uneasy now – it’s a tough life living off your wits. He also likes to lick and nibble you – it doesn’t hurt and is just his way of showing affection! He’d love a garden away from busy roads and really just needs somewhere calm and quiet where he can relax and forget those five missing years.
