Our European Shorthair tomcat SCROOGE came to us as a stray. He was born around 2016. SCROOGE is a quiet and sensitive tomcat looking for a calm home without children. He initially views new situations and people with great caution. At first, he is very distrustful and needs time to build trust. However, once SCROOGE has gained confidence, he reveals his gentle and playful side. He then allows contact and enjoys being close to his trusted people, as long as he is given the space he needs. He does not like to be pressured and appreciates a quiet environment where he can feel safe. It is currently unknown whether he gets along with other cats, though this cannot be ruled out. If a companion cat were to join him later, it would also need to be FIV-positive. Due to health issues, SCROOGE is suitable only for apartment living and hopes for a patient home that will give him the time he needs to settle in at his own pace. Unser Europäisch Kurzhaar Kater Scrooge kam als Fundtier zu uns. Er wurde ungefähr 2016 geboren. Scrooge ist ein ruhiger und sensibler Kater, der ein entspanntes Zuhause ohne Kinder sucht. Neue Situationen und Menschen betrachtet er zunächst mit großer Vorsicht. Er ist anfangs sehr misstrauisch und braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Hat Scrooge jedoch einmal Vertrauen gewonnen, zeigt er seine sanfte und auch verspielte Seite. Dann lässt er Kontakt zu und genießt die Nähe zu seinen Bezugspersonen, solange man ihm den Raum gibt, den er braucht. Er mag es nicht, bedrängt zu werden, und schätzt eine ruhige Umgebung, in der er sich sicher fühlen kann. Ob er mit anderen Katzen verträglich ist, ist derzeit nicht bekannt, kann aber nicht ausgeschlossen werden. Falls später eine Partnerkatze dazukommen sollte, muss diese auch FIV positiv sein. Scrooge eignet sich aufgrund gesundheitlicher Probleme nur für die reine Wohnungshaltung und wünscht sich ein geduldiges Zuhause, das ihm die Zeit gibt, in seinem eigenen Tempo anzukommen.
