URGENT -TURGAL (M)- 2 YEARS -Looking for Adopters BLC W134005172 Characteristics Birth Date: 26/05/2022 Gender: Male Registered with LOF/LOSH/ISDS: No Disabilities: No Child Friendly: Yes Dog Friendly: Yes Cat Friendly: Yes Other Animals: No Character Turgal is a lovely border collie who has no particular issues; he is calm, barks little, and is friendly towards humans and other animals of the same species. He lives without any problems with a cat inside, and sometimes chases it outside, but without aggression. He spent his first two years in Portugal with chickens and 2 sheep, without any problems. Turgal knows how to be alone without destroying anything; he is not reactive to cars, bikes or joggers. He can be walked on a leash or off-leash, with or without other animals of the same species, and he loves to play. Unfortunately there is a BUT to this nice picture: Turgal gets sick in the car, he drools and vomits. His owner has tried many treatments without success, he is still sick. However, he enters the car without any problem, but starts vomiting as soon as the first kilometers are done. Since Turgal cannot travel by car, his owner does not want to subject him to trips, not imagining leaving without him and leaving him alone all day; that's not the life she wants for her dog. Realizing that he needs another life, more sedentary with other dogs and in the countryside, she asks us to find him a new family. The situation becomes urgent because currently Turgal is in an urban environment and he does not cope well with it. Background Turgal is a border collie with a very good mind, he has many qualities, but he does not tolerate the car, which forces his owner to separate from him. Home sought We are looking for a more sedentary home for TURGAL, his main issue being that he gets sick in the car, even over short distances. However, he will need daily walks, and mental and physical exercise, like any border collie; he loves search games. Ideally, a family living near places for walks, who does not need to take the car. A fellow animal of the same species would be a plus for him, as he likes the presence of other dogs. BorderlineCollie is a non-profit association. Il vit sans aucun souci avec un chat à l intérieur., il peut parfois le courser à l extérieur, mais sans agressivité. Il a vécu ses deux premières années au Portugal, avec des poules et 2 brebis, sans aucun problème. Turgal sait rester seul sans détruire ; il n est pas réactif aux voitures velos ou joggers. Il peut etre promené en laisse ou en libre, avec ou sans congénères, il adore jouer. Il y a malheureusement un MAIS à ce beau tableau : Turgal est malade en voiture, il bave et vomit . Sa propriétaire a tenté de nombreux traitements sans succès, il est toujours malade. Il monte pourtant en voiture sans problème, mais se met à vomir dès les premiers kilomètres. Turgal ne pouvant pas se déplacer en voiture, sa maîtresse ne veut pas lui infliger des déplacements, n imaginant pas de partir sans lui en le laissant seul la journée ; ce n est pas la vie qu elle souhaitait pour son chien. Se rendant compte qu il doit avoir une autre vie, plus sédentaire avec d autres chiens et à la campagne, elle nous demande de lui trouver une nouvelle famille. La situation devient urgente car actuellement Turgal est en milieu urbain et le supporte mal. HistoireTurgal est un border collie très bien dans sa tête, il présente beaucoup de qualités, toutefois il ne supporte pas la voiture, ce qui contraint sa propriétaire à s en séparer. Foyer recherchéNous recherchons pour TURGAL un foyer plutôt sédentaire, son principal souci étant d être malade en voiture., même sur de courtes distances. Cependant il lui faudra des balades quotidiennes, et de la dépense mentale et physique, comme pour tout border collie ; il adore les jeux de recherche. L idéal serait une famille résidant à proximité des lieux de promenade, n ayant pas besoin de prendre la voiture. Un congénère serait un plus pour lui, car il aime la présence des autres chiens. .BorderlineCollie est une association sans but lucratif.
