Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs some support Can I be left alone? Potentially, once settled Will’s behaviour when left is unknown to us. Any home alone time for him will need to be built up from scratch, then adjusted according to how he responds to it. Do I have any medical conditions? Existing conditions Will has current and historic medical conditions, namely Hip dysplasia (mild), Lipoma (fatty lump) and requires dental (this will be done at Woodgreen), that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? He seems to ignore other dogs, meaning he could potentially walk with other dogs who also show no interest in him. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? We don’t have any history of Will with children. He is a very wiggly boy and can get very excitable, because of this if his future household has children they should be 8 years +. What type of environment would suit me? Will has lots of energy and loves to play! So he will need a garden with 6ft fencing in his new home where he can run around and let out this energy. Especially as he cannot go off lead in public. About Will Will is a lovable Labrador who is rediscovering the world after spending a long time in kennels. For the right adopter, helping Will learn that the world isn’t such a scary place will be an incredibly rewarding journey. Like any true Labrador, Will loves his toys and is always ready for a game. He has plenty of energy and would thrive with an active owner who can provide regular exercise, exciting adventures, and lots of mental stimulation. Puzzle toys, training sessions, scent work, and exploring new places will all help keep this clever boy happy and fulfilled. Will is looking for a home that can offer patience, consistency, and plenty of love as he continues to find his feet in the real world.
