Yumi is a full of energy, crazy, and very young female dog who, despite the difficult conditions she found herself in, still shows the caregivers how wonderful a dog she is. After getting out of the cage, she can pull quite strongly, but the further away from the animal shelter, the more pleasant the walk with her becomes. Yumi has no problem with other dogs, but as a still very young dog, she can get excited and, in this excitement, forget about good manners. A new home should ensure she has regular contact with well-behaved dogs from which she could learn dog etiquette. Yumi is an active dog, needing both opportunities to run around and moments to calm her head (e.g., through scent games or peaceful walks in the woods). She also has a huge potential – despite all her frustration related to staying in the animal shelter, she still manages to pause and calmly think about her next step in difficult situations. Although she looks adorable and loves people, she is not a very affectionate dog. Physical contact can indeed bring her pleasure, but more in rooms (on walks, exploration is more important to her) and with someone she already knows a bit. When it comes to strangers, she can be very affectionate, but she also sends out a lot of stress signals, and she has even had accidents in such situations. Yumi is looking for conscious, active people who will be ready to meet her needs and who will appreciate what an exceptional dog she is to take under their roof.

Usposobienie: Yumi to pełna energii, szalona i bardzo młoda sunia, która mimo trudnych warunków w jakich się znalazła, wciąż pokazuje opiekunom jakim jest cudownym psem. Po wyjściu z boksu potrafi mocno ciągnąć, jednak im dalej od schroniska tym spacer z nią jest przyjemniejszy. Yumi nie ma problemu z innymi psami, ale jako wciąż bardzo młody pies, potrafi się podekscytować i w tej ekscytacji zapomnieć o dobrych manierach. Nowy dom powinien zapewnić jej regularny kontakt ze zrównoważonymi psami, od których mogłaby uczyć się psiej kultury. Yumi jest psem bardzo aktywnym, potrzebującym zarówno możliwości wybiegania się jak i okazji na wyciszenie głowy (np poprzez zabawy węchowe czy spokojne spacery po lesie). Jest też psem z ogromnym potencjałem – mimo całej jej frustracji związanej z pobytem w schronisku, ona wciąż potrafi w trudnych sytuacjach zatrzymać się i na spokojnie zastanowić się nad swoim następnym krokiem. Mimo iż wygląda przeuroczo oraz lubi ludzi to nie jest psem bardzo przytulaśnym. Kontakt fizyczny owszem, potrafi sprawiać jej przyjemność, ale raczej w pomieszczeniach (na spacerze ważniejsza jest dla niej eksploracja) i z osobą, którą już trochę zna. Do obcych osób potrafi się bardzo intensywnie przymilać, jednak wysyła przy tym sporo sygnałów stresu, a także zdarzyło jej się w takiej sytuacji załatwić pod siebie. Yumi szuka świadomych, aktywnych ludzi, którzy będą gotowi spełniać jej potrzeby oraz którzy docenią jakiego wyjątkowego psa biorą pod swój dach.
