Anna to bardzo przyjazny greyhound, który uwielbia przebywać blisko ludzi. Jej miękkie, gęste futro sprawia, że trudno jej się oprzeć. Anna wie, że często mamy smakołyki w kieszeniach i torbach, więc gdy wydaje nam się, że chce się przytulić, podkrada się i wkłada swój długi pysk do środka! Anna jest bardzo spokojna podczas spacerów, ale może być trochę niepewna, gdy spotyka inne rasy psów, ponieważ nie miała z nimi wcześniej kontaktu. Świetnie dogaduje się z Flint, swoim współlokatorem z budy, i często się przytulają. Mogłaby mieszkać z innym dobrze dobranym greyhoundem. Anna uwielbia przywitać się z ludźmi i chętnie położy głowę na twoim ramieniu, by być bliżej! Prawdopodobnie Anna nigdy wcześniej nie mieszkała w domu, więc proszę być cierpliwym z jej treningiem czystości i przyzwyczajaniem do samotności. Greyhoundy często bardzo szybko uczą się korzystania z toalety i zazwyczaj śpią, gdy są same. Anna może mieszkać z innymi greyhoundami i dziećmi w wieku wczesnoszkolnym. To była kiedyś suczka wyścigowa, nie mamy żadnych informacji na temat jej przeszłości, więc prawdopodobnie nie jest przyzwyczajona do mieszkania w domu.

Sweet Anna is incredibly affectionate and loves to snuggle in close to you, though it's often a sneaky mission to see what's in your pockets and treat bag! She's been with us a little while whilst we get on top of her poorly eye, but now she's ready to look for her forever home again. She has previously shared her kennel with another Grey without issue, but she was rather intense with her toys, so we had to remove them to prevent any squabbles. Her friend has been in our care before and it's been wonderful to see Anna embrace playtime again, showing us that she would be much happier as the only dog at home so that she can play without upsetting anyone. Anna still enjoys walking with other dogs, especially other Greyhounds, so pals should certainly be encouraged once home. She really is the loveliest dog and deserves her own family after such a long wait. Greyhounds are notoriously fantastic company, and Anna is no exception. Anna can live with high school age children but no other pets, although she will walk with other large dogs. She has never lived in a home before so is unlikely to be house trained, but Greyhounds do pick it up quickly. We would advise that Anna have someone home with her most of the time whilst she gets used to family life. Anna has some issues with dry eye that require regular topical medication, and also some spinal pain that requires daily relief. If the cost of medication would be a barrier to you adopting Anna, we would still encourage you to apply and we can talk through options.
