23 kwietnia 2023 To już bardzo blisko, że trudno dostrzec wielkie zmiany z zewnątrz. Jednym z ostatnich elementów zewnętrznych jest metalowe wyposażenie – siatki na frontach klatok oraz drzwi wchodzące do klatek i wewnątrz nich. Poza tym nadal musimy ukończyć odpływ wody i przygotować zasilanie elektryczne, a także doprowadzić krótki odcinek drogi od obecnego zakończonego odcinka do bramki klatek. To samo kosztuje około 10 000 euro! Po dokładnej analizie naszych finansów doszliśmy do wniosku, że nie mamy wystarczająco dużo środków, aby natychmiast zacząć budować drugi etap po zakończeniu pierwszego, ale rozważamy możliwość budowania niektórych klatek w Etapie 2 jako kroku pośredniego. Pozwoliłoby to nam na przyjęcie więcej psów, co jest przecież najważniejsze. 23 April 2023 It’s getting so close now that it’s quite difficult to see much change from the outside. One of the last things externally is the metalwork – grilles for the front of the kennels and doors into and inside the kennels. Beyond that we still need to finish the drainage and sort out the electricity supply, and we will have to bring the short piece of road from the existing finished road to the front gate of the kennels. That alone is about another €10,000! After looking carefully at our finances we’ve concluded that we don’t have enough to commit to building the second phase immediately after finishing the first, but we’re looking at the possibility of building some of the kennel spaces in Phase 2 as an intermediate step. That would give us the capacity to house more dogs, which is after all the most important thing.
