Clark would suit an adult-only home or one with older, secondary school-aged children who are confident around large, energetic dogs. He cannot live with dogs, cats, or small furry pets. Clarke can feel conflicted when meeting other dogs and will need ongoing socialisation and careful introductions. With time and the right support, he may be able to enjoy walking alongside suitable canine companions. As Clark came into our care with no previous history, any time left alone should be introduced gradually while he settles into his new home and routine. His ideal family will be patient, experienced, and committed to continuing his training, giving him the structure and guidance he needs to flourish into a loyal and rewarding companion. Clark is an approximately two-year-old, medium-energy crossbreed with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is incredibly friendly and excitable when meeting new people and loves exploring new places with his favourite humans. Clark is enthusiastic on walks and can be very strong on the lead, so he is looking for an experienced home that is confident handling larger breeds and happy to continue his training. The good news is that Clark is highly food motivated, eager to learn, and already knows cues such as sit and paw. He has settled well into learning new routines, including wearing a harness and showing just how responsive he can be. Clark enjoys being active and would thrive with plenty of enrichment, regular exercise, and positive reinforcement training. He is also a huge cuddle monster so any new adopters will need to give lots of fuss and cuddles.
