Kādās lauku mājās Līvānu pusē bija savairots pulks kaķu un dzīvoja vēl divi suņi. Kaimiņi ne uzreiz saprata, ka to māju iemītnieki ir nomiruši; viens suns badā un salā jau bija miris, otru izdevās izglābt. Par kaķu bariņu kopumā parūpējās trīs patversmes. Svītrainbaltā Jasmīna ir viena no šī pulka. Visi kaķi bija gana mežonīgi, līdz ar to patversmē, nākot talkā brīvprātīgajiem, nācās uzsākt laikietilpīgo socializācijas darbu. Šobrīd Jasmīna jau ir kļuvusi par drosmīgu minci, kura labprāt ar cilvēku spēlēsies un samīļosies, vien opā tikt ņemtai viņai vēl nepatīk.
