Została zdiagnozowana z Distemperem i Dżumą sercową, ale ona jest walką! Poprzez izolację, intensywną terapię i dużo miłości, odzyskała zdrowie z Distemperem i zbliża się do pełnego wyleczenia z Dżumy sercowej. Gdy jego wyniki będą jasne, będzie gotowa do podróży. W wyniku Distemperu, Sofia ma pewne neurologiczne drgania, głównie w nogach, choć czasami mogą wpływ na całe ciało. Te ruchy stają się rzadsze i mniej intensywne z czasem i nadal kontynuuje terapię pod nadzorem weterynarza. Mimo tego, Sofia chodzi dobrze, biega, gra i śpi spokojnie. Sofi thrives in a calm environment with love and patience. 🐾 Personality & Temperament 🐾 Sofi is truly one of the best dogs, she loves people, children, cats and other dogs. She is gentle, affectionate and a real cuddle bug 💛 She walks nicely on a lead, though because of her residual disability she sometimes lies down. We wait for her, she gets up quickly, and then continues walking, repeating as needed. Sofi is well-socialised and is always a joy to be around. 📖 Sofi’s Story 📖 Found abandoned in the Serbian countryside near Novi Sad, Sofi was gravely ill when rescued. She was diagnosed with Distemper and Heartworm, but she is a fighter! Through isolation, intensive treatment and lots of love, she has made a full recovery. As a result of Distemper, Sofi has some residual neurological twitching, mostly in her legs, though it can occasionally affect her whole body. These movements have become less frequent and less severe over time and she continues vet-supervised therapy. Despite this, Sofi walks well, runs, plays and sleeps peacefully. She is happy, content and full of life. Her story is one of courage, resilience and the power of love to heal 💜 If you have a kind heart and the ability to offer Sofi a safe, supportive home, she will give you endless love in return 💖
