Twinkle is a beautiful natured Greyhound with a calm demeanour along with a wonderfully cheeky side that makes her great fun to be around. She walks beautifully on lead and enjoys getting out and about for her daily adventures. When she has the opportunity to safely stretch her legs, Twinkle loves to let loose with some playful zoomies. Twinkle has developed quite the talent of being able to launch her toys in the air and perfectly catch them. When given a soft toy, she is quite happy to keep herself entertained by prancing around before throwing her toy in the air, catching it, and repeating the cycle (which is entertaining to watch). She is equally as happy for her handlers to engage with a game of fetch before she decides we are not up to par and she can do a better job. As she settles into home life, Twinkle will need patient and steady introductions to household sounds and unfamiliar objects. With a little reassurance and guidance, she is sure to continue growing in confidence and embracing all the comforts that family life has to offer. Twinkle is incredibly friendly and enjoys meeting everyone she comes across. She loves attention and will happily soak up plenty of fuss and affection. When she is looking for affection, Twinkle will gently place her head in your lap in hopes for a neck scratch or a cuddle. With her most trusted people, Twinkle may forget her size and think she is a lap dog by trying to cheekily climb onto your lap before realising that may not be the best idea. She will then settle for leaning against you for a gentle fuss instead. She is happy to be around other dogs and has been in the company of multiple dogs where she was fairly independent. She is not a dog who will enjoy lots of boisterous dog company, preferring calmer dogs that she can interact with on her own terms. Twinkle is looking for a home with a private, secure garden where she can safely enjoy a run around and indulge in her favourite zoomies before returning indoors for a well-earned snooze. Although she can be a little fussy with her meals, when it comes to treats, Twinkle knows what she likes and the tastier the better for her, she much prefers treats of high value such as chicken, cheese, or ham.
