Just three weeks old, the little female dog was found alone and crying near the train tracks in the evening. Her guardian angel Stefan heard her cries, hesitated not for a second, and brought her immediately to our helper and veterinarian Roxana. And that was her great fortune – because a tiny puppy like Alwa would not have had a chance in the shelter. Since then, she has grown up in a safe environment – now eating puppy food instead of milk, playing with toys instead of ballast, and receiving lots of love. And Alwa? She makes the most of every second! She is a cheerful, playful, extremely active little mouse who adores her dog friend Keno and imitates him at every step. Whatever he does, she does too – and sometimes even a little better. Alwa is open, people-oriented, and simply adorable. She currently only knows the protected world of her foster home, but with a little patience, humor, and the right company, she will surely soon bravely explore the big rest of the world. Of course, Alwa is still very much at the beginning – when it comes to leash training, house training, being alone, or basic commands, she stands at zero. And we are talking about puppies – which means: everything can, nothing must. Sometimes it works super well, sometimes the carpet gets decorated on the way to the garden. But with loving consistency, positive reinforcement, and the willingness to grow together, Alwa will surely become a really great family member. And yes – Alwa will also soon head into the legendary puberty. This means: commands will be ignored, boundaries will be shifted, and nonsense will suddenly be at the top of the priority list. Those who take it with humor will get a lifelong companion with a lot of heart, wit, and soul. We wish Alwa people who love her not just because of her cute appearance, but who give her the space to grow and develop. People who take joy in showing a young, energetic dog the world – outdoors in nature, playing, running, and learning together. Alwa wants to experience something, let off some steam, and be part of a loving team – preferably with an existing dog buddy by her side. Besides long walks and wild play, she loves to learn new things – small training sessions, sniffing games, agility exercises, or first tricks make her very happy and challenge her not only physically but also mentally. A visit to a positively working dog training class can help channel her curiosity in the right direction and strengthen the bond to her people. For those who want heartbeats, floppy ears, and a lot of life in the house, Alwa is just right! Alwa is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She travels with an EU pet passport after a positive foster home stay as a stepping stone would also make us and Alwa very happy! Ihre Geschichte: Manchmal beginnt ein neues Leben im Gebüsch – so wie bei Alwa. Gerade einmal drei Wochen alt war die kleine Hündin, als sie abends ganz allein und weinend nahe der Bahngleise gefunden wurde. Ihr Schutzengel Stefan hörte ihr Rufen, zögerte keine Sekunde und brachte sie sofort zu unserer Helferin und Tierärztin Roxana. Und das war ihr großes Glück – denn so ein winziger Welpe wie Alwa hätte im Shelter keine Chance gehabt. Seitdem darf sie in sicherer Umgebung groß werden – inzwischen mit Welpenfutter statt Milch, Spielzeug statt Bahnschotter und ganz viel Liebe. Und Alwa? Die nutzt jede Sekunde! Sie ist eine fröhliche, verspielte, extrem aktive kleine Maus, die ihren Hundefreund Keno abgöttisch liebt und ihn bei jedem Schritt imitiert. Was er macht, macht sie auch – und manchmal sogar ein bisschen besser. Alwa ist offen, menschenbezogen und einfach nur süß. Sie kennt aktuell nur die geschützte Welt ihrer Pflegestelle, aber mit etwas Geduld, Humor und der richtigen Begleitung wird sie sicher bald auch den großen Rest der Welt mutig erkunden. Natürlich ist Alwa noch ganz am Anfang – was Leine, Stubenreinheit, Alleinbleiben oder Grundkommandos angeht, steht sie noch bei null. Und wir reden hier über Welpen – das heißt: alles kann, nichts muss. Mal klappt’s super, mal wird auf dem Weg zum Garten noch schnell der Teppich dekoriert. Aber mit liebevoller Konsequenz, positiver Verstärkung und der Bereitschaft, gemeinsam zu wachsen, wird aus Alwa ganz sicher ein richtig tolles Familienmitglied. Und ja – auch Alwa wird bald in die sagenumwobene Pubertät steuern. Das bedeutet: Kommandos werden ignoriert, Grenzen verschoben und Unsinn steht plötzlich ganz oben auf der Prioritätenliste. Wer das mit Humor nimmt, bekommt dafür aber eine lebenslange Begleiterin mit ganz viel Herz, Witz und Seele. Wir wünschen uns für Alwa Menschen, die sie nicht nur wegen ihres niedlichen Aussehens lieben, sondern ihr wirklich den Raum geben, anzukommen und sich zu entwickeln. Menschen, die Freude daran haben, einem jungen, bewegungsfreudigen Hund die Welt zu zeigen – draußen in der Natur, beim Spielen, Toben und gemeinsamen Lernen. Alwa will etwas erleben, sich austoben und Teil eines liebevollen Teams sein – gerne auch mit einem bereits vorhandenen Hundekumpel an ihrer Seite. Neben ausgedehnten Spaziergängen und wildem Spiel liebt sie es, Neues zu lernen – kleine Trainingseinheiten, Schnüffelspiele, Geschicklichkeitsübungen oder erste Tricks machen ihr großen Spaß und fordern sie nicht nur körperlich, sondern auch geistig. Der Besuch einer positiv arbeitenden Hundeschule kann dabei helfen, ihre Neugier in die richtigen Bahnen zu lenken und die Bindung zu ihren Menschen zu stärken. Wer Lust auf Herzklopfen, Schlappohren und ganz viel Leben im Haus hat, ist bei Alwa genau richtig! Alwa ist geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt und entfloht.
