Amber e seus irmãos foram encontrados em um córrego perto do santuário quando tinham entre um e dois meses de idade. Como quase todos os filhotes que recebemos, estavam famintos e cheios de pulgas. Agora com mais de 2 anos (até julho de 2019) ela é um cão belo com um temperamento encantador. Amber está totalmente vacinada e saudável. Ela ainda vive com seu irmão Billy e outro cão chamado Sweep – eles foram apresentados a novos cães com sucesso e se dão muito bem entre si. Eles também saem para correr no parque regularmente, o que amam. Ela tem aproveitado plenamente a árvore de ameixa perto de sua gaiola, e geralmente gosta muito da comida. Amber and her littermates were found in a ditch near the sanctuary when they were between one and two months old. Like nearly all the puppies we get, they were starving and covered in fleas. Now over 2 years old (as of July 2019) she is a beautiful dog with a lovely temperament to match. Amber is fully vaccinated and healthy. She still lives with her sibling Billy and another dog called Sweep – they have been introduced to new dogs successfully and get along with each other very well. They also go out to race around the playground regularly which they love. She has been taking full advantage of the nearby plum tree over her kennel, and generally enjoys her food.
