Aramis traveled to its foster home in April! His story: Baia Mare, Romania. Aramis is a beautiful, young German short-haired male dog looking for a new chance, because he hasn't had much luck in life so far. Are you perhaps the person who will fall in love with Aramis and take him to a loving new home? Like many Romanian dogs, the handsome and friendly hunting male dog without a history came to us at the shelter. We don't know where he came from or what he experienced. The hard life on the streets has left its marks on Aramis. It seems he had an accident, as his right front leg was likely broken. The healing process is going slowly, but now he can run fast normally. Aramis is currently in a small pen in Baia Mare and is one among hundreds of homeless dogs looking for a home. This is a terrible place for a dog with health issues. That's why we are looking for especially loving people who can stand by him during his final recovery and show him how wonderful life as a house dog can be. At a shoulder height of about 60 to 65 cm, Aramis is one of the larger dogs. He has short, gray-black spotted fur and with his friendly gaze from brown eyes, he is a particularly beautiful and stately male dog. Aramis is about 2 years old and has his whole life ahead of him. Surely the very attached and athletic Aramis will trust his new person to make everything right, even though he is still in his teenage years and probably still has a few ideas in his head. It is especially important during this life phase that he gets experienced and secure trusted people by his side who are looking forward to raising and working with a confident and strong dog. It is assumed that Aramis is not familiar with life in the house. Leash walking and house training are likely just as unfamiliar to him as the behavior rules for a well-behaved house dog. After the adjustment period, we would therefore recommend a visit to a positively working dog training class. Shared experiences and regular training will make the transition to his new life easier for Aramis and strengthen his bond to his new people. Hunting dogs often show special friendliness and loyalty to their people, but their prey drive should not be underestimated. Therefore, new people should already be familiar with the special characteristics of this breed and ideally live in the countryside to give Aramis enough space to run and a suitable task. We wish for Aramis patient, active, and experienced adopters who will give him enough time to settle into his new life. Cuddles and plenty of mental stimulation with the young male dog, as well as plenty of exercise and contact with fellow animals, will certainly help him develop into a loyal and reliable companion for his new people. Aramis travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas with an EU pet passport to its new home. Seine Geschichte: Manchmal verändert sich das Leben, ohne dass ein Hund etwas dafür kann – genau das passiert gerade Aramis. Aus privaten familiären Gründen soll der wunderbare Rüde sein Zuhause unverschuldet verlassen und sucht nun seine Menschen, bei denen er für immer bleiben darf. Aramis kommt ursprünglich aus Rumänien, Baia Mare. Schon seit April 2024 lebt er in Deutschland und hat sich hier zu einem wunderbaren Begleiter entwickelt. Er hat kurzes, grau-schwarz gezeichnetes Fell und mit seinem freundlichen Blick aus den braunen Augen ist er ein besonders hübscher und stattlicher Rüde mit einem mindestens genauso großen Herzen. Seine Familie beschreibt ihn als absoluten Traumhund: Aramis ist treu, sehr verschmust und total menschenbezogen. Er ist sehr gut erzogen, kann alleine bleiben, bellt nicht unnötig und kennt bereits viele Regeln des gemeinsamen Zusammenlebens. Auch größere Kinder kennt und mag Aramis. Er genießt das Familienleben und liebt es, Teil seiner Menschen zu sein. Bei Katzen zeigt sich Jagdtrieb – draußen läuft er ihnen gelegentlich gerne hinterher, lässt sich aber gut abrufen. Auch mit anderen Hunden versteht sich Aramis hervorragend. Er zeigt sich sozial und verträglich und würde sich sehr über ein Zuhause als Zweithund freuen, in dem er einen passenden Hundekumpel an seiner Seite hat. Aramis liebt Bewegung und gemeinsame Aktivitäten, er läuft gerne am Fahrrad mit und begleitet auch zuverlässig am Pferd. Für sportliche Menschen ist er ein wunderbarer Partner. Für Aramis wünschen wir uns liebevolle Menschen, die seine aktive, treue und anhängliche Art zu schätzen wissen. Menschen, die nicht nur einen Hund suchen, sondern einen echten Freund fürs Leben und die Freude daran haben, draußen unterwegs zu sein und ihn körperlich sowie geistig auszulasten. Ideal wäre ein ländlich gelegenes Zuhause, um ihm genügend Auslauf und eine passende Aufgabe bieten zu können. Aramis hat nichts falsch gemacht – manchmal ändern sich einfach die Umstände. Nun soll dieser besondere Rüde wieder die Chance bekommen, geliebt zu werden und endgültig anzukommen. Aramis kann jederzeit nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr in sein neues Zuhause ziehen. Er ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft und besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis.
