Gaspard, a cross-breed boxer, and Athena, a husky, are 8 years old and were dropped off at our shelter following a very difficult life change for their owner. After the passing of his wife, the owner was forced to move into an apartment and, with his health issues, he is unfortunately no longer able to continue providing them with the walks they need. Both are housebroken and know how to be alone without causing any damage. Their owner, a pensioner often present, has known a calm life, surrounded by company. On walks, Gaspard and Athena are very pleasant: they walk well on a leash and don't pull much. They are great companions, pleasant to take out and share in daily life. They are used to living with another dog. Athena can be a bit dominant towards other animals of the same species, so gentle introductions will be important depending on the context. They love children. However, no cats for them: they tend to chase after them. At 8 years old, Gaspard and Athena still have plenty of love to give and deserve to find a warm home where they can continue to enjoy beautiful walks and a peaceful life. Athéna a été déposé au refuge à la suite d'un changement de vie très difficile pour son propriétaire. Après le décès de son épouse, Monsieur a dû déménager en appartement et, avec ses soucis de santé, il n'est malheureusement plus en mesure de continuer à lui offrir les balades dont elle a besoin. Elle est propres à la maison et sait rester seule sans faire de dégâts. Leur propriétaire étant pensionné et souvent présent, elle a connu une vie calme, entourée de présence. En promenade, Athéna est très agréable : elle marche bien en laisse et ne tire pas beaucoup. Athéna a vécu avec un autre chien (qui a déjà trouvé sa nouvelle famille) mais elle peut se montrer dominante envers ses congénères, il serait préférable qu'elle soit le seul animal de la famille (pas de chats, pas poules ni lapins). Elle aime les enfants. À 8 ans, Athéna a encore plein d'amour à donner et méritent de retrouver rapidement un foyer chaleureux où elle pourra continuer à profiter de belles balades et d'une vie paisible.
