Nada pode impedir que nossa pequena lutadora Bam Bam viva a melhor vida possível. Nossa corajosa pequena lutadora Bam Bam chegou até nós há cerca de um ano em condições comovidas. Era uma gata filhote pequena e frágil, assustada e a sofrer de infecções graves e ameaçadoras de vida nos dois olhos. No início, o seu futuro parecia extremamente incerto, e temíamos que talvez não sobrevivesse à situação pela qual estava a passar. Mas Bam Bam é uma lutadora e também o nosso equipa. Juntos com os nossos veterinários, oferecemos cuidados constantes, medicamentos intensivos e todo o amor que pudemos dar. Lentamente, as infecções começaram a desaparecer. Embora o dano à sua visão fosse permanente, ela recuperou muito melhor do que alguma vez ousávamos esperar. De facto, recuperou-se tão bem que não precisou da cirurgia arriscada que um dia pensávamos ser inevitável. A sua visão limitada não a impede em absoluto. Bam Bam cresceu numa gata confiante, carinhosa e inteligente que se orienta no seu mundo de forma magnífica. Tornou-se a melhor amiga de Iggy e adora passar os seus dias no Jardim-de-infância, recebendo abraços das crianças e aproveitando toda a atenção. Bam Bam não tem vergonha em se expressar, também. Ela felizmente lhe dirá quando tem fome, quer algo ou simplesmente sente-se como o centro do afecto. De uma gata filhote frágil e assustada para um membro estimado da família do nosso santuário, Bam Bam verdadeiramente floresceu e a sua história lembra-nos todos os dias o quanto o amor pode tornar resiliente mesmo as alminhas mais pequenas.

Nothing can stop our little fighter Bam Bam from living her best life Our brave little fighter Bam Bam arrived with us about a year ago in a heart-breaking condition. She was a tiny, fragile kitten, terrified and suffering from severe, life-threatening infections in both of her eyes. At first, her future looked incredibly uncertain, and we feared she might not survive the ordeal she was facing. But Bam Bam is a fighter and so is our team. Together with our vets, we provided around-the-clock care, intensive medication, and all the love we could give. Slowly, the infections began to clear. Although the damage to her eyesight was permanent, she recovered far better than we ever dared hope. In fact, she healed so well that she didn’t need the risky surgery we once thought would be unavoidable. Her limited vision doesn’t hold her back in the slightest. Bam Bam has grown into a confident, affectionate, and clever young cat who navigates her world beautifully. She has become Iggy’s best friend and she adores spending her days in the Kindergarten, soaking up cuddles from the children and enjoying all of the attention. Bam Bam isn’t shy about expressing herself, either. She’ll happily let you know when she’s hungry, wants something, or simply feels like being the center of affection. From a fragile, frightened kitten to a cherished member of our sanctuary family, Bam Bam has truly blossomed and her story reminds us every day just how resilient love can make even the tiniest of souls.
