What must have happened for such a charming dog to end up at the animal shelter? Benjamin is a small, compact, delicate, and exceptionally friendly little creature. He probably was a family pet and clearly doesn't fit the shelter reality. He belongs to the fearful dogs but is slowly opening up to the volunteers. Despite some reservations, he allows them to form bonds and put on a leash. When he exits the kennel and the animal shelter, he puts up a light resistance and sometimes hesitates, but he makes quick progress. Pasty treats help him gain confidence and he increasingly enjoys walks. Benjamin has a positive attitude toward other dogs. When he passes them on a walk, he looks at them with interest and encourages them to meet. For a fearful dog, he also has surprisingly good relations with people and eagerly accepts deserved portions of affection. We hope Benjamin's stay at the animal shelter is just a temporary misfortune and a short-term transitional state. We are looking for responsible, caring people who will show him that life by a human's side can be beautiful.

Co się musiało stać, że tak uroczy pies trafił do schroniska? Przecież Beniamin to niewielkie, kompaktowe, delikatne i wyjątkowo sympatyczne stworzonko. Prawdopodobnie był psem domowym i wyraźnie nie odnajduje się w schroniskowej rzeczywistości. Należy do psów lękliwych, ale powoli otwiera się na kontakt z wolontariuszami. Pomimo pewnych obaw pozwala sobie założyć szelki i zapiąć smycz. Przy wyjściu z boksu i schroniska stawia lekki opór i czasem się zacina, ale robi błyskawiczne postępy. Pyszne smaczki sprawiają, że nabiera odwagi i coraz chętniej spaceruje. Beniamin ma pozytywny stosunek do innych psów. Gdy mija je na spacerze, spogląda na nie z zainteresowaniem i zachęca do zapoznania się. Jak na psa lękliwego, ma też zaskakująco dobrą relację z człowiekiem i chętnie przyjmuje należne porcje głasków. Mamy nadzieję, że pobyt Beniamina w schronisku to tylko chwilowy pech i krótkotrwały stan przejściowy. Poszukujemy dla niego odpowiedzialnych, troskliwych ludzi, którzy pokażą mu, że życie u boku człowieka potrafi być piękne.
