9/8/2026: Beea, a slightly older female, may initially be shy around new people, but she quickly relaxes. Once she loses her initial reserve, she reveals herself to be a attention-seeking lady who loves people above all else. Beea has gotten along well with other dogs at HESY, but since she likes to be the center of attention, she can easily become jealous. If another dog gets more pets, Beea may start to boss around. She also doesn't want to share her toys with others. If a new home has another dog/dogs, playtime will need to be supervised at least initially. Grooming has gone smoothly with Beea at HESY. However, nail trimming is a very stressful activity for her, and it will need to be practiced in the new home. Beea can adapt to many types of living arrangements. She may bark at passing dogs outside, but she is otherwise a quiet companion. A new home can be in an apartment building. Beea may also be suitable for a family with children, as long as the dog is given its own space. She has a neutral attitude towards cats, so she may be suitable for a home with a cat that is already accustomed to dogs. Experience with hairless dogs is considered an advantage, as skin care is important with Beea.

8.9.2026: Jo hieman vanhemmanpuoleinen Beea saattaa aluksi ujostella uusia ihmisiä, mutta rentoutuu nopeasti. Alun vieraskoreuden karistua hänestä paljastuu huomionkipeä rouva, joka rakastaa ihmisiä yli kaiken. Beea on HESYllä tullut hienosti toimeen muiden koirien kanssa, mutta koska viihtyy itse huomion keskipisteenä, saattaa helposti tulla mustasukkaisesti. Jos toinen koira saa enemmän rapsutuksia, voi Beea alkaa komentelemaan. Myöskään lelujaan hän ei tahtoisi toisten kanssa jakaa. Mikäli uudesta kodista löytyy toinen koira/koiria, tulee ainakin alkuun leikkihetkiä valvoa. Hoitoimenpiteet ovat HESYllä sujuneet Beean kanssa pääosin hienosti. Kynsienleikkuu on tosin hänen mielestään kovin jännittävää puuhaa, ja sitä tulee vielä uudessa kodissa harjoitella. Beea sopeutunee monenlaiseen asumismuotoon. Hän saattaa välillä pihalla haukahdella ohikulkeville koirille, mutta on muuten melko hiljainen kaveri. Uusi koti voi siis sijaita kerrostalossakin. Bea sopisi mahdollisesti myös lapsiperheeseen, kunhan koiralle annetaan omaa tilaa. Kissoihin Beea on suhtautunut melko neutraalisti, eli hän saattaisi sopia kotiin, jossa on jo ennestään koiriin tottunut kissa. Kokemus karvattomista koirista katsotaan eduksi, sillä ihonhoito on Beean kanssa tärkeää.
